Arclify

Terms of Service

Your agreement with Arclify.

Terms of Service – Arclify

These terms govern your use of the Arclify app and website. By using Arclify, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

  • Name: Patrik Juhász (sole trader / egyéni vállalkozó)
  • Address: 4032 Debrecen, Jerikó utca 28. 10/80, Hungary (EU)
  • Tax ID (VAT): HU91818263
  • Contact: [email protected]

2. The service

Arclify is a habit/routine app built around 90-day seasons, daily tasks, XP/streak feedback, and weekly reviews.

Arclify is not medical or mental health treatment, and it does not provide clinical advice.

3. Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use Arclify. Arclify is not intended for children under 16.

4. Account registration

To use Arclify you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate account information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify me if you believe your account has been compromised

5. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Arclify offers paid access via in-app purchase.

Trial

  • Arclify provides a 7-day free trial (where offered).
  • You may be asked to select a plan and provide payment authorization through the app store.
  • If you do not cancel before the end of the trial, your subscription will start and you will be charged according to the selected plan.

Plans

  • $30.99 per season (90 days) (paid upfront), or
  • $12.99 per month

Prices may vary by region and may change in the future; the price presented in the app store at purchase time controls.

Billing and cancellation

  • Apple is the seller of record for in-app purchases. Billing, renewal, cancellation and any statutory withdrawal or refund are therefore processed by Apple under its policies; manage your subscription in your iPhone's subscription settings.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, the subscription renews automatically at the then-current price ($12.99/month or $30.99 per 90-day Season; prices vary by region).
  • I can't directly issue App Store refunds, but contact me and I'll help where I can.

Right of withdrawal (EU/EEA users)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date your subscription contract begins, during which you may cancel without providing a reason.

However, by starting your free trial or subscription, you explicitly request that the service begins immediately. You acknowledge that once you have begun using Arclify, your right of withdrawal may be limited to a proportionate charge for the service used up to the point of cancellation.

To exercise your right of withdrawal before using the service, contact [email protected] within 14 days of your subscription start date with the subject line "Withdrawal – Arclify".

Note: Cancellation of a subscription after the withdrawal period has passed is handled through the Apple App Store subscription settings on your device.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Misuse the service or attempt to access it in unauthorized ways
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Use Arclify to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Interfere with the service's operation or security

7. Intellectual property

Arclify, including the app, branding, logos, text, and design, is owned by me or licensed to me and is protected by applicable laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use Arclify for personal purposes while you comply with these terms.

8. User content and data

You retain ownership of your personal habit/routine data. You grant Arclify permission to process that data to provide the service (store progress, compute streaks/XP, generate insights). See the Privacy Notice for details.

9. Disclaimers

Arclify is provided "as is" and "as available." I do my best to keep it reliable, but I can't guarantee uninterrupted operation or that it will be error-free.

Arclify does not warrant or guarantee specific results or outcomes. Whether you become more consistent depends on your own actions, and nothing in the app or its marketing is a promise of a particular result.

9a. Promotional offers and satisfaction guarantees

From time to time I run promotional offers (for example, an extended free first Season for early "founders") or publish a satisfaction guarantee in the app's marketing. These are voluntary, goodwill commercial offers - not a warranty that you will achieve any particular result.

Where such an offer or guarantee is published, the specific conditions stated alongside it (eligibility, time window, how to claim, and what you receive) form part of these Terms for anyone who relies on it. To claim, contact me at [email protected] within the stated window. Unless the offer says otherwise, the remedy is a credit such as an additional free Season - not a cash payment - and any monetary refund of an App Store purchase is handled separately by Apple under its policies. I may end or change a promotional offer for future users at any time; this does not affect an offer you have already validly claimed.

These promotional offers do not limit your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Arclify and I are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the service.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Changes to the service or terms

I may update Arclify and these terms over time. If changes are significant, I may notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using Arclify at any time. I may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms or misuse the service.

You may cancel your subscription through the App Store. You can also permanently delete your account and its data directly in the app - from the in-app settings and from the paywall screen (so deletion is possible even after a subscription has expired). Deletion is a full removal of your account and associated personal data, not a deactivation. See the Privacy Notice for details.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your country require otherwise.

14. Contact

[email protected]

15. Consumer dispute resolution

If you are a consumer and we cannot resolve a dispute directly, please first contact me at [email protected] so I can try to help.

As a Hungarian trader, I am subject to the Hungarian conciliation board (békéltető testület) system. The board competent for my seat is the Hajdú-Bihar County Conciliation Board (Hajdú-Bihar Vármegyei Békéltető Testület):

As a consumer you may instead turn to the conciliation board competent for your own place of residence or stay. You may also contact the territorially competent consumer protection authority (the relevant county government office / kormányhivatal).

Note: the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued in July 2025 and is no longer available.

16. Apple App Store terms

Arclify is distributed through the Apple App Store. You also agree that:

  • This agreement is between you and me (Patrik Juhász), not with Apple, and I - not Apple - am solely responsible for Arclify and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for Arclify.
  • If Arclify fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any); to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
  • I am responsible for addressing any claims relating to Arclify, including product liability, legal/regulatory non-compliance, and consumer protection claims, as well as any third-party claim that Arclify infringes intellectual property rights.
  • You confirm you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo and are not on any U.S. Government restricted-parties list, and you will comply with applicable export and usage laws.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you as a user.
